You bet! In fact, you'll notice Mobile Portland is the only link we currently have in our blog roll (http://www.mobileportland.com). But Mobile Portland's stated focus is mobile development. Mobile Monday will have a broader mission to include all the various areas of technology development, marketing, trends, etc that impact the local Portland metro mobile and wireless landscape. We hope to work closely with Mobile Portland, especially on matters concerning mobile development, and we will hold our events on days other than the fourth Monday of the month so as not to compete.
